International Aid Services Denmark is a Denmark based humanitarian organisation,
which aim at assisting in disaster areas and to bring aid and development into third world
countries. International Aid Services is active in many nations. This page will give you
a brief introduction.
IAS Denmark is an independent humanitarian organisation with a board of its own. The supreme
authority is the general meeting, which is held every year before 1st August.
IAS Denmark popular foundation is the Danish Pentecostal Movement which has approx. 5000
members scattered across Denmark. The activities are carried out in co-operation with
local churches. Furthermore, IAS is working with a number of partners.
IAS Denmark is associated with IAS Sweden, which is a sister organisation. IAS is also
represented in Norway and Germany. IAS in Europe use the same offices in Africa and
co-operate about the projects in order to utilize one another�s resources.
IAS Denmark co-operates with Danish Mission Council Development Department and receives
support for its programmes from the Danish Government (Danida) and other donors, including
private and church donors.
